Social Media Awareness Initiative

In today’s digital age, social media has become an integral part of our lives, especially for young people. However, the negative impact it can have on mental health is a growing concern. Co-founder of ITCA, Patrick Newton, and his business partner (retired police officer), experienced computer forensic private investigators, have witnessed firsthand the harmful effects of social media in their line of work. Through their investigations, they have encountered many tragic cases linked to online interactions, including instances of suicide.

Their commitment to making a difference extends beyond their investigative roles. ITCA aims to raise awareness about the detrimental effects of social media on mental health and provide education to empower leaders, young people and families. To achieve this, we are embarking on a project that includes:

1. Short Film Production:
We will produce a powerful short film highlighting the real-life stories of individuals affected by social media. Through interviews with clients, mental health professionals, and community members, we will illustrate the serious consequences of online interactions.

2. Community Education Initiatives:

Our team will take the film into local churches and schools, where we will engage with young people, parents, and educators. We will provide valuable insights and practical strategies to promote healthier online habits and identify signs of mental distress.

3. Support for ITCA:
Funds raised through this initiative will go towards the production and distribution of the film, education, awareness, and research, as well as supporting the ongoing efforts of ITCA, which advocates for holistic healing and awareness worldwide.

4. Get Involved
We believe that raising awareness about the harms of social media is a crucial step in fostering a healthier environment for our youth in America - leading the cause worldwide. If you are interested in supporting this initiative, please consider donating or partnering with us. Together, we can create a meaningful impact in our community and help those affected by the challenges of social media.
